Anybody else really missing warm weather? I don't need 80s, although that would be great, but can I just leave my damn gloves and coat at home already??!!
Here's my cold weather alternative to a beautiful feminine dress that's begging to be worn. I really love this sweater. The details and fit are very nice, but something about the collar reminds me of that ruffly ring clowns wear around their neck (see close up below). What do you think?
cords - Blank NYC via Piperlime; tank - Madewell; sweater - Anthropologie Ha'Penny; shoes - Target; nails - Zoya Eve
I did make a discovery today. I have no bright colors in my closet. There is color yes, but bright color, no. A nice bright tank would've been better under this sweater today in my opinion. Gonna have to remedy that with more shopping!!
Ok, ok, I admit it - I changed into flats before work.
hi betty, I think you look wonderful with that shirt and not that colar is not stranged, it's just in fashion now! I am very classic so for me the cobination is perfect, kisses x
ReplyDeleteYou look perfectly feminine with this outfit. No need to change anything about it. I love that sweater, although I wish it is a bit warmer.
ReplyDeleteI hear you about the cold weather! I typically prefer winter/cold, but I'm starting to REALLY miss the sun:) I love your outfit and I'm sure you looked great with the flats on too! The top is really pretty.
ReplyDeleteThanks ladies. Hopefully we will have some sun in our very near future and I can break out the dresses.
ReplyDeleteHere's hoping it warms up for you so you can say hello again to dresses and skirt! Your figure is slammin' in those cords! So I have the opposite closet situation: Brighter colors in saturated hues are actually the bulk of my closet. If only we were neighbors...we'd have each other covered!
ReplyDeleteI love this color combo that you came up with! I really really really think you have done such a beautiful job with this outfit.. Its so subtle and so romantic in a way.. Unfortunately I cant understand the cold weather thing cause i'm in san diego, but I would be more than happy to have you visiting me! :)
